Privacy Policy

Card Night is a small, independently-run project. This page explains what we collect when you use it, why, and how to have it removed.

Last updated: September 2026.

What we collect

This depends on how you sign in:

Beyond your account, using the app generates:

How we use it

To run your account, show your chosen nickname to the people you're playing with, keep game history within the rooms you're in, and keep you signed in. That's it — there's no advertising, no analytics tracking, and nothing here is sold or shared with anyone for marketing.

Who else sees it

Google or Apple, only to confirm your identity when you sign in — we don't send them anything about how you use Card Night. The app runs on a single server we operate ourselves; no other third party has access to it.

How long we keep it

Leaving a room removes it from view immediately, but — like most apps — the underlying record is kept rather than instantly erased, so a game's history stays consistent for everyone else who was at the table. If you want your account and everything tied to it permanently deleted, contact us (below) and we'll take care of it.

Children's privacy

Card Night isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under that age.

Changes to this policy

If this ever changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
